SMS Consent

How we ask permission to text you, and what you get if you say yes.

How you opt in

When you place an order there is a checkbox at checkout, directly below the phone field, that reads:

Text me about this order — one message when you're checked in, one when it's ready. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

The box is unticked by default and it is optional — your order goes through exactly the same whether or not you tick it. We only text you if you tick it yourself. We never buy, rent, or import phone numbers.

What the checkout looks like

This is the consent checkbox as it appears at checkout:

What we send

Up to two messages per order, both about that specific order: one when you're checked in at the counter, and one when your order is ready for pickup. These are transactional notices, not marketing. Ticking the box at checkout never signs you up for promotions.

Drop alerts are a separate sign-up. If you enter your number in the drop-alerts form on our homepage, we also text you when a new pop-up is announced, from this same number. That is the only way to receive those, ticking the checkout box never starts them, and STOP ends both.

Texts come from our toll-free number, and you can reply to them. Replies go to our team and we answer them during service — they are not a substitute for urgent contact, so if something is time-critical, speak to us at the counter. We keep the messages you send so we can follow up on them.

How to stop

Reply STOP to any message and you will not receive further texts. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies by how many orders you place.

You can also simply leave the checkbox unticked at checkout — you will never be texted.

Your information

We do not share or sell your phone number, and consent to receive texts is never shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the rest of your information.
